To see and hear these GOP Propaganda Pimps and Hypocrites already starting to use...decision...to posture themselves as "active opposition" is both sad and sick. The decision by US Attorney General (AG) Eric Holder and the Obama Administration, to try the infamous mastermind of the 9/11 attacks on American citizens in New York City has drawn criticism from a variety of sources. While the decision is debatable, it should not be used to pump up anti-Obama political fodder, unless the concerns being expressed are legitimate, and with good reason.
In Late November, 2009 President Barack Obama approves sending 34,000 additional troops to Middle-Eastern war effort, weeks after being accused of dithering by lame ex-vice president Cheney.
Obama, once again, must disappoint his left leaning base, in an attempt to clear up yet another lingering Bush administration disaster. Had Bush Administration not diverted resources to a war in Iraq, based on lies and manufactured intelligence; USA would be a lot closer to resolution in the Afghanistan/Pakistan/Indian conflict areas.
Bottom line is...YOUR taxes will be raised to fund the war expansion, as the mess gets messier. More of America's finest will sacrifice life and limb, in an effort to rid the world of Islamic extremists--determined to bring death to the infidels, maintain the corrupt status quo in the region, and keep people living in fear. “Even banks are refusing to loan other banks...We need bottom-up economic reform”-Robert Reich
Wise words indeed. The test period has run its course on trickle-down economics and the result is rolling in right before our eyes. The cancer in our economy is no longer just the rebellious teenage version of “Reaganomics” We let it fester, and now we have a legal-aged, bearded tumor eating away at our gut.
What has been going on on Wall Street with these giant investment firms and insurance companies has simply been fraud! It is and has been completely out of control, with no end in sight. Even now, after greasing their filthy blue-blood palms with our hard earned, red blood money, they continue to gouge the pie and cry hungry. Instead of going to jail for deceptive business practices, performed in new, innovative, unprecedented ways, they are getting bankrolled by the very people they have taken advantage of. The American people at large are clearly the Pawns in this debacle, and all our governments can do to contribute, is serve as pimps.
Enough with the politicians all trying to score points by saying they’re going to “fix Washington” “Washington is broken.” These are empty, cop-out catch phrases which show weakness and an absence of true grasp. Why not say what it is. “Our federal government is broken.” “I’m going to fix our federal government.” Well, they don’t say the latter because such claims would bear real responsibility and something to point to when the promises aren’t kept. Saying Washington is broken means nothing. When they leave office and our government is still broken, over-run by lobbyists and special interests, Washington remains, just a place. Should Judges be selected to intentionally balance culture, race and gender on the bench?
Like an army of marauding ninja vampires, slithering around the underbelly of life, waiting to slip through the smallest crevice and seize the first opportunity to reappear and muck things up. Even while their thirst is dormant, they proceed to sink their fangs into the necks of the rational, sucking the sweet blood of logic from the veins of life. Before you can mount a defense, or even reach for an intellectual band-aid ---Boom! It's in your face and all over your favorite pair of shoes.
Findings from a recent study, presented by Maria Shriver and the Center for American Progress examines the effects of the growing number of women in our workforce and explores the many angles of this reality that we must all confront. Expect this publication to spark a long and overdue, national (hopefully global) conversation. We must figure out how to save our sanity and our children, while adjusting to the changes in our responsibilities. Should we welcome the changes, or should we be holding on tighter, trying to retain some better semblance of the "traditional family"?
